Blog Entry 5: Basketball FAQs

How do you have good handles? How can you not lose the ball when running with it? How do you pass so good? How did you get a good shot? These are some questions I got asked a while back ago. The reason I got good handles is because I practice dribbling the ball really fast and hard everyday. This will make you a better ball handler. Then, I never lose the ball when I'm running with it because that too, I practice with outside. One of the reasons I pass the ball so good because I have good a good look. What I mean is that I am always looking around to see for anyone to be open, but when I pass I make it fancy so no defender can steal it. One of my main reasons for having a good shot is by having my elbow in when I shoot. I know I didn't before, but until one of my good friends told me to keep my elbow in, I started to shoot the ball way better.

Helpful Tools-
One of the best tools that made me a good baller is an agility ladder. What you do with the agility ladder is you move your feet in the ladder boxes and out. This helps you move your feet faster in basketball. You get better defense, faster speed, and quicker reactions with the agility ladder. Another tool that I used to become a baller is a vests. The vests is equipped with weights and straps for you to do all sorts of workouts for basketball. For example, you could jump, run, and do squats with the vests on. The vest improves you to jump higher, get stronger, and faster. The vest, by most, will improve your cardio and stamina. With both of these helpful tools, this will let you become a true baller.

Tips and Tricks at Basketball

Tips and Tricks- Basketball 
1. Some of my tips are: practicing to drible better, make it even with both hands. What I mean is, if you drible ten times with your left arm, do the same amount with your right arm. Always try to switch up your dribbling so you can do those moves in a real game. It is always important to keep your head up when dribbling the ball, in a real game. I say this because when a person is guarding you, you try to do him with all these moves, when a person on your team can be open for an open shot. If you like to play good defense, always run, run, run. It is important for you to keep your cardio up and especially your speed in basketball. Also, bring a friend over and start passing him the ball different ways, this will improve your passing game. One of my favorite tricks to do on someone is is the sham god. Top 10 lists: of getting noticed in basketball

1.If you're the one that doesn't get noticed in basketball, then you need help.
2.One of the ways to get noticed is to start crossing people up.
3.If you can make them fall, that would be one of the ways to get your attention boosting all the way up.
4.If you start suddenly dunking in a real game all of the sudden, then people will be acting crazy over you.
5.Another way you can get a lot of attention is by stealing the ball from the other team in any way, and finishing off the play.
6.If you all of the sudden send someone's ball away after they shoot it, the crowd will be loud.
7.Another thing, if you don't score a lot in a game, then start doing so because people will be saying that "you carry your team".
8.Fade aways, Fade aways, and Fade aways will increase the audience attention when watching your game.
9.One more way to get noticed in basketball is to start off first in a game, because then you'll be called a "starter"
10.Finally, with you being a point guard, walking doing the court by yourself is another way to get you noticed in basketball.

How To: Make People Fall

Everyone likes to embarrass other people in basketball.
To start off, you dribble the ball between your legs towards your opponent.
That is to confuse him on which way you are going to go.
When you are about a yard away from your opponent and the ball is in your left hand, you fake going right and you go left.
Once he starts off moving towards you, you do the sham-god.
You do the sham-god by throwing the ball with you left hand (in this situation) in front of you and quickly grabbing it with your right hand.
Once you do the sham-god, YOU HAVE TO QUICKLY STOP WITH THE BALL.
With the fast defender going towards you and then suddenly stopped, it will surely make him fall.
And with finishing movies, you look at him, then look at the rim, shoot the ball, and hopefully make it
